Both a Monochrome Award winner and International Photography Award winner, this image has been a favorite of judges for a long time and the notoriety of it keeps increasing! I shot this with a neutral density filter at sunset of an old pier on Maui. The long exposure proved a perfect way to get that milky water effect in the foreground and also make the dilapidated pier stand out as a piece of history that still stands in west Maui waters.
