I love reflection images. One of the best ways to capture them is above sitting water like lakes and ponds. Unfortunately, we don't have many places like that here on Maui, but what we do have is a vast amount of tide pools amid our lava rock coast lines.<br />

This image was taken shortly after sunset from a place near my house that I like to photograph. It's a quiet and desolate place, and though the waves from the ocean tend to cover these tide pools with relative frequency, at low tide there are pools that stand still at allow me to photograph the reflections of the sky, the moon and stars.
