Dancing Inferno
On the Big Island of Hawaii a caldera of molten lava simmers just below the ground, occasionally spewing lava and rocks skyward, this is the Halema'uma'u Crater inside the Kilauea Caldera, one of the most active volcanos on the planet.
Mesmerized by the dancing gasses that were coming out of the crater and the brilliance of the fire that reached into the sky, I sat here for hours photographing this scene.
