Red Dawn

This was a serendipitious photo. I didn't mean for it to come out looking all red like this, but it did. You see, behind me to my right were large city street lights. They were dim and unobtrusive, but the ambient light from them combined with the misty, overcast day produced these insanely rich red colors on my long exposure photograph of these old pier poles.

I was shooting with manual white balance at the time and I certainly didn't account for the conditions correctly, but when I saw this on the back of my Nikon D850, I really loved it! I didn't do much with this image in Photoshop, it's pretty much the way it came out of the camera!
