Winter's Warmth
This is an extremely popular spot for photographers in the winter. What? You don't recognize it? You probably wouldn't actually. The reason being is that the scene all photographers shoot here is directly behind where I'm standing to get this photo.
To me, while that scene is nice and pretty, this one was way better. This image helps me to remember to always look down, look up, turn around and find the best composition. The best composition isn't always the most popular one.
I think Winter Warmth proves that. It took home top honors at the 2017 International Photographic Competition. One of the world's most elite photographic competitions put on by the Professional Photographers of America.
